Denis Law was one of the world’s greatest ever footballers, but he never lost sight of his Aberdeen roots.

Such is his family’s connection with the Granite City that Denis would drive his wife, Diana, the 350-mile journey North for the birth of each of their first three children, determined that they should be born in the city he loved.

The Law family were proud to be back in Aberdeen at the unveiling of the new Denis Law Institute for Sport & Wellbeing at Robert Gordon University, which supports and celebrates the fantastic work of the Denis Law Legacy Trust.
