His show is a mixture of requests from listeners and he'll always try and play some big hits mixed with some hits from artists you might not hear all the time but will remember!

• title twins where he plays two songs with the same title
• hat trick which is 3 songs from the same year and you need to guess the year
• "fars that fae (where's that from if you don't speak doric!)" where he gives you some lyrics and you have to guess the song and then we play it.

Why do you volunteer for Grampian Hospital Radio?

I love meeting the patients when I am collecting requests. You can really tell when you have made their day having a wee 5-10 minute conversation! I also love when they did not know they had a radio in their room and I leave their room with GHR playing away and a smile on their face.

I love presenting, getting to play the requests collected on the day and adding in some songs I think everyone will enjoy that they have not heard in a while.

Citybreak in Europe - especially a christmas market
